Nick Brandt studied Film and Painting at St. Martins School of Art until he started photographing in December 2000 in East Africa. Shooting animals like Elephants, Cheetahs, Rhinos, and other animals of Africa is his signature subject matter and style. There is something very special that Nick Brandt does in the way he captures his images and we felt they were absolutely gorgeous. [...] Some incredible black & white photos from East Africa. [...]
Truly fantabulous; amazing choreography of light and shadows. Some parts whimsy but resonating with raw power and catches you by the throat.
Absolutely fantastic expression of art. Mr. Brandt has opened a world which many of us would never have the opportunity to see.
Thanks
