Today we have one of the most incredibly inventive artists I have seen. His name is Julien Breton (english bio) and he hails from Nantes, France and takes so many different medias to OTHEr world levels of creativity. From what I understand he is self taught and uses calligraphy, time lapse photography, incredible timing, 3dimensional design, typography, and who knows what else to create his work. One of the things I find most inspirational about this artist is that he has found an extreme passion for the Arabic written language. The Spatial arrangement of an ancient text that speaks to him so loud that he then creates a 3 dimensional world of insane beauty out of it. (Special thanks to Raf for showing me this artist) Please go to the website and check out all of the incredible images by Kaalam.

What is one to think of those fools who tell one that the artist is always subordinate to nature? Art is in harmony parallel with nature.

Well quoted and an excellent first comment for the site. We thank you…
I love your site and have been visiting for some time. Since I started using a Lenovo netbook I have trouble fitting your website on my browser. Any chance you could make a smaller version for people using smaller screens?
